Happy Guests!

Don’t just take it from us! Here’s what our recent guests have been saying!

Great getaway!! We needed a night away and some friends recommended this inn. Wow, what a great place to stay! The new innkeepers, Michele and Tom, were very accommodating. Even though they are new to the area (and new owners of the inn!), they still recommended a great restaurant in town. Michelle is an excellent baker and made a delicious breakfast of French toast and bacon. Our room was just updated with brand-new bedding and new rugs in the bathroom. Thank you, Tom, for making sure we had everything we needed for our room. It was a very quaint and relaxing weekend. I can't wait to go back in the winter for skiing. Butternut is less than 15 minutes away. Plus, in the summer, it'll be a great stay after a concert at Tanglewood!!!

COOKIES AND SNOW We decided on a holiday getaway not far from the Hudson Valley. We settled on Great Barrington because neither of us had visited there in years and we love the Berkshires. No, we do not ski, but we love good restaurants and shops and museums and especially charming inns. The Windflower has recently experienced a renaissance under new owners. It offered us a lovely room with king-size bed, spacious bathroom and comfortable public spaces. The inn was immaculate. Michelle is quite the cook and baker. There were numerous, generously filled cookie jars everywhere. Our breakfasts were delicious - from pancakes to quiche - everything was served hot and quickly. The breakfast room is bright and cheerful with a fire going and, on our visit, a snowfall to watch. The inn is beautiful in the snow. We had a a great visit at the Windflower and will visit again.
