Weekend renewal My best friend of 51 years (college roommate) and I have enjoyed visiting the Great Barrington area for the past 35 years. It is something we look forward to with great anticipation. For the past 5 years we have been staying at the Windflower Inn and find it very relaxing, inviting and immaculate. We always enjoyed your conversations with Claudia, the former owner, but were equally delighted to meet the new owners, Michelle and Tom. They are warm and friendly and we felt very welcomed. Michelle is quite the cook, very attentive to my gluten free needs. We enjoyed amazing breakfasts and easy conversation with both of them. The coffee was wonderful. A very relaxing way to begin our days. In the past we have stayed at a variety of hotels and inns/ the most famous of course, for years, but we find Windflower Inn is the perfect ambience for our yearly get-togethers. Thanks, Michele and Tom. We'll be back next year.!ckm1925 (from TripAdvisor)
Exceeded expectations in every way! I stayed a couple of days after a stressful and sad few months in my life. It was just the thing to refresh my body and soul. The inn is lovely, clean, comfortable -- public areas as well as bedrooms, and in a peaceful, beautiful setting in the Berkshires. The new owners, Tom and Michelle McCarthy outdid themselves in making me feel comfortable and welcome. And their three teenaged sons were also helpful and welcoming. The breakfasts were fabulously delicious, as were the cookies, candies and apples available at all times. I will surely be back!Edie R (from TripAdvisor)
